Former Vera Cruz Resident Is Dead Funeral services were held Wednesday in Petoskey. .Mich., for Christ Reusser, a former resident of Vera Cruz, who died Sunday. Mr. Reusser was born on July 10. 1868. in Beni, Switzerland and resided in Vera Cruz until 1911, when he moved to Petoskey. Robert Baxter Hurt In Auto Accident Robert Baxter, 17. son of Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Baxter of near Linn Grove, is recovering from an autotruck mishap on state road number 1 north of Blufftyn Thursday Baxter was attempting to go around a truck, which was in the center lane preparing to make a left turn. The two machines collided, and half of the Baxter automobile wss demolished. The young man was taken to the Clinic hospital at Bluffton where his injuries were dressed.
