Youth Caresses To Setting Four Fires Williamsport, Ind., Feb. 6 —(UP) — State police said today that a 16-y ear-old youth had confessed to setting four fires, including a $35,000 blaze at a grain elevator. The youth, arrested at his home, admitted setting fire to the Allison Station elevator in Warren county on Dec. 17. He also signed a confession admitting responsibility Jor three other blazes at private residences.

To Offer Seminar On Small Business In cooperation with the United States department of commerce, the Indiana University division of adult education and public cervices and school of business will offer a seminar in the problems of small business at the University’s Fort Wayne Center beginning Monday, Feb. 9 This new feature of the center’s curriculum is designed especially for those who plan to operate or are operating their own small business. It will be conducted by Prof. D. Lyle Dieterle and other members of the Indiana University school of business faculty aided by business men who are qualified specialists in their respective fields. The meetings will be held each Monday evening at 8 o'clock in Room 302 of the 1. U. Center, 1120 South Barr street, for 15 weeks. For those eligible, the course may be taken for two semester hours of credit. All others may take it without credit. o Among developments in electrical appliances is a twin waffle baker that makes two full-size waffles at a time.

Ask To Intervene In Printers' Case Major Labor Unions Ask To Enter Case Indianapolis, Feb. t> —(UP) The nation’s three major labor unions sought permission today to file briefs in a hearing on whether a U. S. district court should restrain the International Typographical union from striking against newspapers. The American federation of Iftbor, parent union of the ITU, the congress of Industrial Organizations and the United Mine Workers (Ind.) said they have asked the court* here for permission to intervene in the injunction proceedings which will begin Monday. The national labor relations board has asked the court* to enjoin the ITU from unfair labor practices. Members of the printers’ union are on strike against newspapers in Chicago and other cities in an effort to enforce demands for closed shop agreements, banned un-
