and Monmouth all high schools in attendance records during the last compilation period, according to a report issued today by Melvin Mallonee, county attendance officer. The Blue Creek schools had a record of 97.5 percent attendance, followed by: Hartford, second with 97.2 percent; Preble, third, 97.1; St. Mary's, fourth, 97. Monmouth high’s attendance percentage, was 97.6. Other leaders: Jefferson, 96.1; Kirkland, 94.8; Geneva, 94.2. Enrollment in the grades totalled 1,968 and in the high schools 610, making a total of 2,578 for all schools, Mr. Malloneo’s report shows. The total percentage of attendance in the grades was 96.8 and in the high schools, 94.9. A total of 2,892.5 days absence was shown in the period, of which 1,892 days or 65.8 percent was attributed to sickness. —— o — EMPLOYMENT (Continued from Page 1) crease of 71.4 percent.
