Funeral Held Today For Accident Victim Funeral services were held this afternoon at a Portland funeral home for Herschel Baker, 33, of near Portland, and a native of Adams county, who died at Marion from injuries received in an auto accident. Baker was fatally hurt when his car left the road near Marion and crashed into a utility pole. Three people, riding with him. were seriously hurt and are in the Marion hospital. All are residents of that city. Baker, a World War II veteran of four years service, was the son of Charles and Dora Stauffer - Baker, formerly of near Berne, and now residents of Bluff Point, south .of Portland.
