By Jan. 1. the department said, exports will hit 205,500,000 bushels. That leaves the government today with only 58,000,000 bushels to apply on its export program | for the last six months, which will be the most critical for hungry Europe, as it awaits its own 1948 harvest. It means that the government must continue to buy grain in the nation’s grain markets.
