Box 245. 2»9-g2t Q Spot Oil Shortages Seen This Winter Washington, Oct. 10 — (UP)— Government petroleum experts eaid today that scattered fuel oil shortages appeared inescapable this winter but shied away from any suggestions of allocating domestic supplies. They said the scarcity of tank cars would provoke spot oil shortages in the midweet and New England with the rise jn heating requirements. But they preferred the law of supply and demand to any type of allocation, either voluntary or government-enforced. o Carrots and other edible roots I were imported into Great Britain I from Holland and Flanders*about 1 1510. Record supplies of canned fruit juices are predicted tor the caiolug winter.
