Sheriff Is Seeking Owner OIL,. i 'Traveling' Goat * Sherif Herman Bowman is still looking for the owner of a “traveling" goat which he picked up in the north end of Decatur several days ago. The goat’s history, revealed here today, explained to the sheriff why he had no trouble getting the animal into his auto at the time it was apprehended —although he had plenty retrieving the animal from under a house. So the story goes, the goat—a stray animal—was placed in the back seat of a Decatur man's anto, while the former was inside a Pleasant Mills home visiting his girl friend. he arrived in this city. The joke was tyo good to stop, so he placed the goat in the back seat of anpother man’s car. Besides Pleasant Mills and Decatur, the traveling goat paid a visit to Willshire, O„ and other places before finally calling a halt to his travels. When he wound up in the gardens of some north side residents they summoned the sheriff. Now he is still looking for its owner. Meanwhile, the animal placidly eats about everything that isn’t nailed down in the back yard of the county jail residence. p The diamonds in antique jewelry have not gone dim with age.
