This rope dangled to a bout two feet above the pau-metil Stucky did not oee It until It had hooked to his truck o Eastern Cuba Shaken By Four Earthquakes Santiago De Cuba. Aug. 7 (UP) • Four earthquakes shook eastern Cuba during Hr* night, leaving one person dead and ten injured. The tremblors, lasting up to 15 seconds each, cracketl buildings in Santiago De Cuba, and sent hundreds of persons fleeing to parks to sleep out the night.
