The Albert Fruchte residence on Tenth street, was beautifully decorated with rainbow colors and mixed flowers. A mock rainbow was cleverly arranged with gifts placed underneath .which Mira Miller opened at a later hour. Miniature tinbrellas were used as favors for each guest. Bunco was enjoyed and each p ile was presented to the brideelect. A delicious luncheon was then served by the host asses. Guests present were the Misses Clarice Sauer. Alice Roth. Kathryn Yager. Harold Hammons. 20. of Ossian, pleaded guilty to theft of an automobile at Van Wert, O„ when he was arraigned In federal court at Fort Wayne this week and was sentenced to 60 days In jail. The Rev. and Mrs. Norman Berry and son. of Wolcott visited for a short time this week with the Rev. and Mrs. E. E. Isenhower of the Christian church. Rev. Berry is the evangelist of the northwestern district for the Christian churches.

Army Training Plane Crashes, One Killed Indianapolis. July 31 - U'l’i — The crash of an army training plane in a resld>-nHal section was blamed today on motor trouble. One army reservist was killed and his instructor injured. James I. Barrick, 27. Martinsville, a World War two veteran, died shortly after he was taken to City hospital last night (apt. F. Weirb Foster, 30. an instructor at Stout field, jumped from the burncraft with minor injuries.

Two Veteran Teachers Hold Berne Reunion Berne. Ind . July 31 Aluiut 7<t years ago. J. P. Habegger, of Berne, now ft I years of age, and Henry Lauchrey, now MG, of Frankfort. taught school In district No. x rural school In Monroe township. Habegger taught school in the Swiss language because many of the pupils did not know any Eng lish, and Lauchrey taught in the English language. The two men ha l; not seen each other for more than half a century until this week, when l.auchrey came to Berne and the two men had a grand time re-: calling old timcM.
