Van Wert Man Is Fined As Speeder Continue Drive On Traffic Violations Richard N. Weigel, 34. Van Wert, Ohio, la the latest parson to bp arrested la the drive against traffic violations being conducted by police authorities In the county. Weigel whs arrested late Saturday by sheriff Herman Bowman, who charged him with driving s<» miles per hour In a 30-mlle sone on federal road 27 through Geneva. He pleaded guilty when arraigni ed before justice of peace Ernest ' Stengel and was fined II and costs, totalling 15.50. Traffic was partially tied up for sis and one half hours Saturday evening and night when a large semitrailer truck “broke down" on federal road 27, two miles south of t'oppess Corner. All lugs on dual wheels on one side of the truck, owned hy the R. (’. McCarty company of Kansas City- Mo., snapped off, stranding the truck on the highway there.
