Leonard Saylors, who gave a most interesting and enthusiastic report of the Tri Kappa state convention, held in April at IndianaiMdis. The report ttmk up in detail the philanthropic projects of Kappa Kappa Kappa. Active and associate chapters unite in eupiMirting all local and civic d'lves, the Hoosier art salon, the Indianapolis symphony, youth recreation programs, hospital service. summer ramps, seeing eye institutes, kindergarten, dental clinics, supply special teachers for handicapped children, and in the province to which Alpha Sigma chapter and Decatur associate chapter belong, they support the Fort Wayne philharmonic society. Members of the associate chapter alno learned that the scholarship fund which was established in 1916 by the local chapter of Tri Kappa, has now reached the sum of $1898.21: also, there are eighteen thousand members of Tri Kappa in Indiana, with one thousand new members each year. Mrs Saylors chso-d her report by saying that a good slogan for every Tii Kappa for the new year would be “hats off to the past, coats off to the future'* Music was enjoyed during the evening, through the courtes/ of Ziner'n appliance store. Hostesses ' for the evening were Mrs. Guy Brown. Mrs. Linn. Mrs. Avon Burk. Mrs. Raymond Keller. Mrs Erwin Goldner and Miss Fannie Hite.
