Lyskowinski. with a won-lost coat hlng record over eight sea sons that is second to few. had seven lettermen back from a strong 1945-46 team And he had Byron "Ix.ng John" Johnson, a six footnine inch transfer student from Kentucky. After the season was a couple weeks old. writers and fans were trying to recall when theyd ever seen a* inept looking a team as Jeffersonville. By the time January rolled around. Jeff had lost six of its first 10 games, with a humiliating 52-25 rout by Bedford capping the c limax in the Indianapolis holiday tourney. A few days earlier.
