Waukegan Housewife Is Found Murdered Maniac Sought By Police In Illinois Waukegan. 111.. Feb. 13— (UP> A "maniac" entered a bungalow last night, beat a young housewife about the head and then killed her , by plunging a paring knife Into her breast, police reported today. The victim. Mr*. Ruth Peterson.! 29. was fonnd sprawled in the din ! Ing room by her husband. Arnold.' 31, when he returned from a bowling match Mhortly before mid-, night.
