To Start Production Os Ferguson Tractor Harry Ferguson Inc., big Detroit farm tractor and farm implement manufacturer, will build its new Ferguson tractor in Cleveland. Plans are now under way for completion of production facilities at a huge Cleveland war assets administration war surplus plant property for which the Ferguson company was the successful bidder. The plant operated during the war years as the Cleveland Pneumatic Aerol Co., manufacturing totaling gear struts for naval planes. Officials of Harry Ferguson. Inc., have announced that extensive alterations on the plant will begin immediately and that production of the new tractor will begin this summer. When Initial production is started at the Cleveland plant, it is estimated that lietween 300 and 400 Ferguson tractors will roll off the assembly lines each day. Full plant capacity, when reached, will permit production of 1.000 tractors per day. Purchase of the Cleveland plant came In the wake of an announce meat last November that the eight year-old working agreement be tween Harry Ferguson, inc. and the Ford Motor company will be terminated on June 30, 1947. The Ford Motor company Is manufacturing a tractor for the Ferguson company which was designed under the supervision of Harry Ferguson and embodies his basic patents. 0 No One Injured In Two Auto Accidents No one was hurt in two auto accidents in the city late Wednesday.
