Fats And Oils Will Become More Scarce Washington. July 12 -(UP) The agriculture department has announced that edible fata and oibincluding lard, margarine and shortening will b» even more scarce during the next three months than they were last quarter. (’lvlllan supplies of inedible fata and oils used in paint and similar producta will be about the same. The department said civilian* would get about 884,500,000 pounds of edible fats and oils thia quarter as compared with 997,100,000 pounds In the second quarter.
