Price Increase Is Granted For Cream Half Cent Per Pint Increase Is Granted Washington, June »«—(VP) — I The OPA today granted a temporary price Increaae of one-half cent per plat on cream sold by distributors and retailers In 19 in Id western marketing arena. Increaaea will be tn effect until early neat month when the agriculture department will announce ix rmanent booala, OPA said. The price action applies to cream containing 16 percent or more butterfat content. A one-fourth cent Increase per half-pint also was granted to d'strlbutors and retailers In the hrras for half-and-half —a mixture of fluid milk and cream containing between 8 and 16 percent butterfat content. Marketing areas affected are Clinton, Sioux City and Dubuque, la.; Fort Wayne, LePorte and St. Joseph county. Ind.; Kansas City and St. Louis, Mo ; Chicago and suburban Chicago, III.; Omaha. Neb.; quad cities, including Davenport, la., Molino, Hast Moline, end Rock Island. 111., and sur-i-iundlng area; Wichita. Kans.; and extending to the tri-state area parts of West Virginia.
