Report Issued On Small Loan Firms 338 Loan Companies Licensed In Indiana A consolidated report on operations of licensed small loan companies In Indiana for the year ending December 81, 1948. just released by the Indiana department of financial Institution, reveals some pertinent facte about inrtaliment cash lending by small loan companies. There were 338 licensed small loan companies In Indiana on December 31. 1945. Significant facta disclosed by the consolidated report are: The 338 licensees made 278,966 loans of |3tN> or less totaling 842.6214,583.87 during the year. In 1944 the number of loans made hy 336 licensees was 277,854 for a total amount of 839,629,<(99.54.
