A. M Nichter. Purdue University emergency farm labor superviftr, said today. The continued drain of worker* by industry and stdeetive service has further shortened the supply of available young men, he said. Nichter said prisoners of war would not be available this season and fewer foreign worlds from Mexico and Jamaica will come to Indiana. In addition, many World War II veterans who left the farm to go into service will take industrial position* hefutse of training and experience obtained in the army or navy. Nichter cited the continued machinery shortage sjMmother reason for emergency assistance* from youthful Hoosier rural citizens.
