Indiana Farmers Rally To Appeals Life-Saving Corn Pours From Farms Indianapolis. May 4— (UPi — Hoosier tanners, rallying to the tight against world famine, today were credited with pouring nearly 800,000 bushels of corn into elevator blns for the commodity credit corporation. Alvah F. Troyer, Indiana representMive of the CCU. said that three days’ de-iiverlen totaled 776,688 bushels. Some elevators, like those at Monroeville and Edgerton, were unable to accept further deliveries until boxcars became available to move the grain already received to termDial markets, he added. The shipments during the throe days wore received under the government's emergency program offering a Sfrcent premium pay-menf-per-bushel altove market prices. Troyer predicted that the nationwide bff.OOO.OfW bushel mark would be reached in leas than 10 days. When that amount has been purchased, he added, the bonus of 30-cents-a-busbel will no longer lie paid. Largest deliveries were in Benton county, which recorded 183.122 bushels in Its elevators, and Jasper county, with 138,784 bushels. ————o— ————— Woman And Estranged Husband Found Slain Indianapolis May 4 (UP) —• A 49-year-old woman and her estranged hiisbaml were slain ttalay in an apartment houae shooting.
