The Midland team is led by Slim Wintermute, six foot, seven Inch center from the University of Oregon, who paced the Dows to their victory over the Pistons. Other regulars on the Midland outfit are Danny Hmick, ex Michl gan star, Ray Patterson Wiscon sin; Harvey Martens, of Purdue, and Tom Drown, of New York, all towering above six feet.
