CARL GERBER IS ELECTED CIRCLE LEADER Circle II of the W STS. of the Melodist church met Thursday afternoon at the home of Mm. Carl Gerber. Mrs. A. R. Stucky opened the meeting with prayer. Several calls were reported, after whloh Mrs. Carl Gerber was elected the new circle leader for 1946. The devotional leader was Mrs. Harry Essex and her topic was •’Peace." The lesson was given by Mrs. Cal Steury on "We the People.’ and "Building a Life In Europe. * taken from rhe atudy book Methodist Women. The hostess, assisted by Mrs. Pred Ahr and Mrs Charles Burdge, served delicious refreshments to the thirteen ladies and two «hlldren present. MRS. FRANCIS ELLSWORTH HOSTESS TO CLUB TUESDAY The Church Mothem study club met Tuesday evening at the home of Mrs t Francis Ellsworth, with thirty two members and three guests present. The three new members taken Into the club were Mrs. Malcolm Ixicke, Mrs. Paul McFaul and Mrs. Philip Dolby. The devotions were read by Mrs l>I)oyt Miller, and Mr*. George Roop and Mns. <Ennan Johnson were lesson leaders. Delicious refreshments were served by the hosttes. assisted by Mrs. Glenn Manlier, Mrs. Harlan Jackson and Mrs. Dolby. The next meeting will he the children's Christmas party on December 12. The time of the meeting has been changed fmm two to three o'clock.
