Mr. and Mrs. Jay Alton and daughter, Paige, are visiting the former's mother. Mrs. Frank Alton on Rugg Street. They plan to make their home here, temporarily. Floyd and Russell Acker are completing plans to leave here the morning of November 12 for Florida, They will travel by trailers and will be accompanl'-d by members of their families, including their father, Samuel Acker. They will go to Clearwater for a short time and plan to go from there to Coronado to spend Hie winter. Mr. and Mrs. Fores! Owen* and daughter, Helen Jean, visited with Mias Phyllis Owens, a sophomore at Indiana University, and Mr. and Mrs, W. B. Miner and family In Bloomington over the weekend. While there, they attended the In-dlana-Tulsa footlwll game. Mr. and Mrs. L. Jamro Beavers and young son, James Edward, have returned to their home In Indianapolis after visiting the former’s grandm-.ither, Mrs. S. I). Beavers. Lloyd A. Price, 67, former county commissioner of Van Wert county, died yesterday from a stroke suffered while visiting his farm. He was once a candidate for the Republican nomination for United States senator. Funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon at 3 o’clock. Mr. Price was known by many in this county. Mr. and Mns. Daniel Ralph Barkley of Dixon, 0., are the parents of a baby boy, born Sunday afternoon at 4:03 p.m. at the Adams county memorial hospital. He has not been named.
