Labor spokesmen said frankly that congressmen who oppose labor's program will be earmarked for political retirement at next year's elections. Tlte American federation of labor, congress of industrial organizations, railway brotherhoods and United Mine Workers were unanimous in their support of the full employment bill and increased unemployment compensation. In this they were joined by secretary of labor Lewis B. Schwellenbach who testified before congressional committees last week. All of the labor groups are opposed to the passage of the Ball-Burton-Hatch bill to create a federal industrial relations board with compulsory arbitration powers. Hearings have not yet been held but Schwellenbaeh, who supported the Wagner labor relations law while in the senate, gave hints that he would oppose the "B2HI" bill in its present form.
