Macklin, a- - rived home last night with an honorable discharge from Hie army, ! after serving .'IS months in the service, 17 of which were overseas. I He !<; in good health, still retains; his hearty laugh and is happy to be back home. Cpl. Macklin, a son of Mrst. Lo-j Ila Macklin. 12S N. First street,: i participated in the European and | Czechoslovakia campaign and ha-j I four battle stars on his service I I ribbon. He went with the army ! i through France an d Belgium, across the Rhine and wound up in | Germany when the war ended. He was attached to the 79ih infantry; division and served with a motor unit.
