To Train Postwar Salesmen r w.y...W ■ * > z v v A " W" ’WB:: -»k An intensive four-months sales training course will be inaugurated n September by the Indiana Uniirsity School of Business at Bloomgton to fit war veterans and others /meet the needs of Indiana busiess and industry for expert salesmen and sales leaders in the distribution of postwar goods and services. Plans for the training program were developed by the late Robert M. Bowes, upper picture, Indianapolis industralist. The course will be under the direction of Prof Brooks Smeeton, lower picture, of the University's School of Business. The course, wnich has the backing of Indiana business as represented in the Indianapolis Sales Executive Council, will include instruction in nine fields basic to salesmanship training. Admission will be open to those having at least high school education and to non-high school graduates over 21 years of age and showing special qualifications, wish particular attention given war veterans.
