Jail Gives Up on Goat Brockton, Maes. —(UP) —Can you jail a goat? You can —and then you can't, according to two Brockton policemen. They picked up the goat for loitering and jailed him. But after three hours they were unable to stand the "fragrant odor” and he was released to the city farm for shelter.
