Oct. 4—(UP! •—Lewis Walton. 31. began a two to five-year prison sentence for bigamy today after finding that Billie quotations were no defense. Walton told circuit judge C. M. Gentry yesterday that he could prove by the Bible that having two wives was no crime, but a deputy prosecutor retorted that “I believe the court will try thik case according to the laws of Indiana ami not by the Bible."
