Strong Russian Forces Launch New Offensive Berlin Reports New Drive Launched In Northeast Romania laindon. Apr. 2".- (UP) Kowerfill Ititssian forces have launched a new offensive in northeastern Romania. Berlin reported today, and Moscow said the Sevastopol siege army had captured a network of trenches in which lied marines defended the city two years ago. President Evicted After Refusal To Obey Government's Seizure Os Store Chicago, Apr. 27. (UP)—Two hunky soldiers picked up Newell Avery, fit’-year-old head of -Montgomery Ward and Company, today ami carried him. kicking and squirming, from the executive office* ot the nation* second largest mail order house to enforce the government’* seizure of the firm's Chicago plant*. The soldiers, accompanied by thre- other member* of 'heir de- ' tall, carried Avery cut of hi* paneled. green-carpeted office, loaded him into an elevator, ami hustled him out through the main lobby . to the sidewalk where they put him down on iii* feet.
