Both laickman and Hutton re celved either first or second place votes from nine member* of the board. But Sid got six first place votes and three second plate ballots against five firsts and four seconds for Hutson Each first place ballot counted flve points and each second place vote was worth two points. Luckman polled 36 points— Hutson 3k. Next in line wa- Sammy Baugh \ with 13 points, followed by Ward Cuff of the New York Giants.
