July 31. according to an announcement by congressman George W. Gillb. The examination, open lo all district residents between the ages of 17 and 21 years, including men In the armed services, ha* Ireen arranged hy congressman Gillie to , assist In the selection of qualified ( j nominees for admission to the Naval Academy in June. 1944. A principal and three alternates will be nominated on a basis of the examination results. Candidates desiring to compete for the appointment should contact Congressman Gillie Immediately at the House Office Building. Washington. A letter of authorization. together with complete Information concerning the scope of the examination, will be supplied by return mail.
