Local Man Arrested Following Vandalism Joseph Kenney Is Held At Fort Wayne Joseph Kenney. 33. Decatur and Earl Gibson. 22, .Monroeville, are charged with second degree burglary In Allen circuit court at Fort Wayne, following an alleged "spree of vandalism" early Wednesday morning In .Monroeville. They confessed, Fort Wayne authorities said, to breaking into the Luenberger Bros, garage at -Monroeville and ransacking the building. Police said they admitted stealing 81.13 in cash from the service station, of hoisting cash register valued at 12.50, smashing and abandoning It, breaking glass in doors at the Webster and White service stations, windows at the Mm. Clarence Kline home and In cars belonging to Mac Sites and Jack Beauchot. The auto was driven by Forrest K. Hawkins, 18. and owned by his father, William Hawkins. The youth told officers Adrian Coffee and Roy Chllcote, who investigated. that the vehicle upset when he attempted to turn sharply to the right onto the paved road, running behind Belmont Park. In the car with Hawkins were: Pauline Hawkins. Dwight Marshall and Bonnie Strickler. All escaped serious injury. The auto was badly damaged. — ■ ■ o Muncie Bus Drivers Threoten To Strike Muncie, hid.. May 27—(UP) — Bus drivers at Muncie voted this morning to strike on Sunday morning unless the Denny and Mines bus company officials agree to signing forms which would certify a wage dispute to the war labor board. Business manager Lloyd Rosencrans of the drivers' union says the management has refused to refer increased wage negotiations to the WLB for settlement. The strike vote was 37 to 4.
