Trial For Saboteur Aides Starts Today Six Chicaqoans On Trial For Treason Chicago. Oct 26— (UP) — The jury that will try six Chicagoan* tor treason U being selected. Then Campbell read the indlctm nt against them, which accuses them of being helpers to the eight saboteur, who were landed in thia country by submarine from Germany last spring. Specifically, the charg- 1, that the defendants helped Herbert Han* Haupt of Chicago, and one ot the six executed spies. One of th» defendant, Is Mrs Hans Max Haupt It was her first public appearance since she learned that her «on. Herbert — the dead saboteur, had be n electrocuted. The other, are her husband. Hans Max Haupt; Mr and Mrs. Walter Froehling. aunt and uncle of Herbert Haupt; and Mr. and Mrs Otto Richard Wergin. friend, and neighbors of Haupt and hi, parents. After th- first 12 veniremen were questioned, court adjourned until 2 o'clock.
