The committee also plana to submit to the president a copy of a letter sent to Nazi sympathizers in this country from Germany in January. 1941. bearing the signature of Walter Kappe. now the object ■ of a nation wide search by the FBI. ! Kappe Is said to agree. In the >tter. to be head of a pro-Gertnan movement In this country. The Dies committee, it was understood. believed that about 3.000 • of the persons it has listed contributed to the "Kyfferhauser bund," and that several thousand more were associated with the "American-German Volksbund."
