FLOWER MISSION AND INSTITUTE The Women's Christian Temperance Union will have an all day meeting at the First United Brethren church Tuesday, at which time a local institute will be held and flower mission day observed. Rotary Club Hears Member From Chile Agustin Turner Is Speaker Thursday Agustin Turner, prominent Rotarian from Valparaiso. Chile, delivered an interesting discourse on Chile and other Latin-American countries and their relation* with the United States at the weekly meeting of the Decatur Rotary club Thursday evening at the K. of Phome. The speaker, who has been in Y. M. C- A. work in Chile since 1915, told of the vast difference in living conditions and labor status in Chile a* compared to the United State*. Mr. Turner pointed to the va»t raw resources for material in the Latin-American countries, now *0 sorely needed by this nation, but which were no- developed in previous year* because of trade barI Her*. Routh Americans, he said, want democracy to survive, there is little sympathy in those countries for Nazism or Fascfaam.
