Here is the type nf motor torpedo boat of the U. 8. navy* ‘ mosquito fleet which made a daring raid into a western Philippine bay at night and blasted a 5 000-ton Japanese vessel in the face of tire of shore hattericr. The small boat, capable of speed of at least 40 knots, or 4* milt» per hour, made the daring raid into Binang* bay, inside the entrance to Subic bay. ar.d opposite side of the Bataan peninsula from Manila bay. The small boat is armed with four 18inch torpedo tube* and four machine gun* in power-operated turret*.
