JO Miss Jean Weber. daughter of postmaster and Mrs, Paul G W**l**-r, became the bride of Robert Dro ot Berne. In a ceremony at the Piral Presbyterian church at 9:3n o'clock Saturday morning solemnised by Rev It II Hutchinson A Wedding break fa*’ at the Colonial tearoom followed the rite* which were read by candlelight before the altar bunked with greenery and baskets of yellow crysanthemum*. Attendants were Mrs Donald Meek st rot h. Evansville. and Herman Hchafer, Fort Wayne. Jay MeCreary, Bloomington. Utre* ta-h man. Herne, and Ikiuda* W*-b*-r, brother ot the bride, wer« ushers. Organ selection* were played by Miss Esther Davis and Mrs Mark Shideler sang. The bride was graduated from Huntington high school and attended Indiana university two years. Mhe la a member of the I. I', chapter of the Delta Gamma sorority and tho Huntington Tri Kappa chapter and ha* been teaching at the Lincoln school. Mr. Dro was graduated from Herne r.lgh school and ftom Ind lana university last June At the university he was a member of Alpha Tau Omega fraternity, the Sphinx club and wa* a varsity basketball and baseball player. He is athletic coach at P*-nd’eton high school. The ladies' aid society of the St. Paul church has heen postponed from Thursday to October 30 al which time it will meet at the home of Mrs Ha rah Martin. Our Lady of (Sood Council study dub met recently with Mr* Francis Koor* with roll call answered with an ejaculation. An article was road by Miss Lucille Braun and a general discussion held The meeting dosed with prayer and the dub adjourned to meet again November 13. The Meeting of the Philo class which was to have heen held this evening has been postponed until Thursday evening.'October M 0. Y. B. CLASS HAS KID PARTY The D. Y. >H class of the First KJalted Brethren Sunday school met at the home of Mrs* Manley Foreman recently and enjoyed a kid party The meeting opened with the song. "The Little Red Schoolhouse," by Mrs. Ih-rtha Hakers. Mrs. Mattie Fisher and Mrs. Goldie Fisher. After each had recited a nursery rhyme, the business meeting anddevotions were held.
