Death came as the result of a heart ailment i following one week’s illness Th,- deceased was born February 5. l»7d. a daughter of John and Emma Smith Hower She was married In Magley. October 14. IMM. to Charles Dettlnger, who survive*. She was a member of the Methodist Beulah Chapel In Kirkland township. Surviving other than the husband are two daughters. Mrs Florence Kell of Van Wert. Ohio: Mrs. Beatrice Hower of Fort Wayne; four grandchildren; two brothers. E. E. Hower of Decatur and Bullas Hower of Sapulpa. Oklahoma, and one sister. Mrs. Nellie Sheller of Huntington. Two sons pi eceded her In death. The body will be returned from the Jahn funeral home in Bluffton this evening to the residence In Magley. and funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon at Beulah Chapel. Burial will be iu th-a Decatur cemotery.
