At about 1:50 o'clock, after calling four witnesses to the stand, plaintiff's counsel rested. The witnesses were Mrs. Morthorst. her husband. Or. William Clark and one of the co-defendants. Robert Koch. A Sfi.mm personal Injur/ damage suit was opened this morning in Adams circuit court with the February petit panel hearing the case and Judge J. Fred Frucht-t presiding. In the suit, Mrs. Jessie Morthorst. of Fort Wayne Is seeking to rocover that amount In her com plaint, which names the American Railway Espress Company, lu employe, Robert Koch and the W. T. Grant company as defendants. Mrs Morthorst charges that on June IT. 1*37, while she was walking down Calhoun street. Koch, while working for the egpress company. opened a trap door in ,he sidewalk leading into the base ment of the department store.
