He was already a stockholder and for many years had been Secretary Treaturer of the Knox Building 4 lx>an Association. Thia institution grew and prospered and finally ißOved into its own building. So Henry Schricker again entered the banking business. He sold his newspaper and took over his duties in the bank. In IV-0 the bank built a new building immediately across the street from the Burke County Democrat whore Henry Schricker had spent 11 years of his young manhood contributing to the contemporary thought of the day and mirroring the news of his community.
