Gore. 65. wealthy surgical specialist, and his son were held in adjoining cells today. The sou for the slaying of his stepmother last July, the father because be killed his sou's attorney yesterday after an argument over ■ the son's defense The attorney was Carl Choisser. 49. publisher of the Benton Evening News and a cousin of young Gore He and Charles F Settlemote. a locksmith, were walking through an alley to Choisser's newspaper plant when, witnesses said. Dr. Gore came up behind them and nrvd five shots. Three bullets pierced Choisser'* abdomen. He was taken to Benton hospital where surgeons performed an operation. He died last night. The’son.
