(XocfctA. ■) p. ihrlt prepared by Dally Democrat—Betty Crocker Homo Service Department TO ROLL OR NOT TO ROLL W E ALL have our own Ideas about making pookleu. Some prefer the crisp thin kind that must Im carefully rolled and cut before they are baked. Others like the thick puffy kind—their tops glistening with sugar and their interiors soft and fluffy as a cake. Then there'a a third school of cooky makers who insist on the dropped variety liecause they are so much easier to make—and It takes so much less time to drop them from the spoon than it does to roll out the dough and cut it.
Rowvver, 1 think svgrybody likes •our cream cookies They have a 'avorfulnem all their own. And they can be dropped or rolled—thick or thin, round or square- -or »ny shape you desire. Os course, there’s a little difference in the ecipea for the rolled and dropped varieties. But here they both are and I leave to you to decide whether to roll or not to roll them.
