BOOSTER GAME PLANNED FOR LEGION TEAM Booster (lame Wednesday Evening To Send Team To Indianapolis The Decatur Junior American Legion team will play a "booster name" at Worthman Field Wednesday evening at 5 o'clock, with proceeds to be used to defray exlienees of the team to the regional tournament at Indianapolis Thursday The Decatur team will meet the Van Wert, Ohio. Junior l*gion team in thia special game. The Van Wert tram was seml-finalial tn last year's Ohio state Legkm tournament The game has no bearing on Indiana stale standings but will provide Decatur fans with an opportunity to see all the Imai Junior le-glon boys tn action. The admission price will be 25 cents to all. The Decatur team will play at the Riverside diamond at Indianspoils Thursday morning at 9:30 oclock. meeting the winner of the Kvanaville district. If auccesaful in the opening game. Decatur will play again at 3 o’clock Thursday afternoon. The four survivors will meet for the state title Saturday. August 5. In one of the four cities winning In Thursday's elimination. Tickets may be obtained from Paul Briede at the City Confectionery, the Dully Democrat other, the Legion home or from any member of the Junior Legion team. The Decatur team will meet the Mason Junior at Bluffton Tuesday afternoon and the booster game here Wednesday will be the Anal tuneiip for the tourney.
