Stomach poison*, to kill leaf eating insect*, such a* arsenate of lead, calcium arsenate, or rotenone. Fungicide, such as bordeaux mixture. dusting sulphur, and lime-sul-phur for* some use*. Nicotine and arsenic are poisonous. but Ute gardener who exercises reasonable care in their use incur* no danger. Rotenone and pyrethrum are gaining wide acceptance for spraying and dusting, because they arc not poisonous to ani-
