REARING POND BEING BUILT • asaMumms Rearing Pond For Fhh To Be Maintained By Conservation League Kxcavation of a real Ing pond to he maintained by the Adams county fish and game conservation league, la nearly completed at the new artificial lake site on the Schreyer farm, northeast of thia city The members of the club plan to get at least the one pond, about : 140 by 4<t feet M site. In operation thia year Natural drainage and concrete abutments with dam gates to control the level are some of the features in the pond An appeal has been made by the club to all fishermen and sportsmen of the county who catch pari ent bass, to turn them over to the club. These bass will be used in the tearing pond Anyone catching parent bass whi< h he is willing to turn over to the dub la sailed to contact Charles Knapp, of thin city. The entire atock tn the rearing pond thia year probably will be bass. Mr Knapp stated.
