Myers stipulated that the check be held up for 10 days so the prop- j erty could be sold. He admitted another attempt to buy his father’s death had fallen through. Myers said he had had trouble ; with his father two years ago when he worked on one of his father’s farms. The elder Myers did not realize any profit on the land and took it away from his son. Police said Myers probably would be arraigned Friday on a charge of conspiracy to commit murder. The maximum sentence under such a charge is 25 years. Myers, who came from Peoria, ' 111., five years ago when a bank released him, is married and has,i a son. Paul, 14, as freshman at Purdue university.
