Two games tonight — one here, one away! We’ll admit that the turkey, dressing, cranberry sauce, pumpkin pie, etc., etc., keeps us a little j further away from the typewriter than usual, but we will do our best. —oOo— For a holiday I ?) week, we have had more basketball activity than jou can shake a stick at. By Saturday night no less than nine games will have been played by Adams county quints. Wednesday night’s card was a full one. The county's representatives came through with flying colors in out-of-county competition, 1 winning three of the four tilts. The Jackets were the only local representative unable to pull a victory out of the bag, and al- ; though we did not see the tilt, we understand they are capable of much better ball than they displayed against the Railroaders. —oOo — There are two good ball games in prospect for tonight. The Jackets smarting from a 24-19 defeat at Garrett should be in the proper mood to dish out all the Geneva Cardinals want in an intra-county encounter. The Commies will resume net activities tonight on the home floor when they tangle with a Buckeye five from Celina, Ohio. Those Jackets got off on the wrong foot Wednesday night as far as the NEIC race is concerned. The Garrett-Jacket clash was considered a conference tilt and leaves the local lads with a conference loss to overcome if they expect to stay in the race for the title. —oOo — With two victories and but one defeat—that to the state champion Anderson Gaels —the Commodores
