FIFTEEN ARABS ni r iii niATn DIE IN KluiS Disorders Are Reported In Many Towns Os Palestine Jerusalem, Oct. 11.— (U.K) —Fifi "teen Arabs have been killed and ' four constables have been woundl ed in disorders in various towns ■and villages in Palestine, it was announced today. Police said that rebels were active in many places. Rebels shot into and threw i oonojn at tuC militaiy camp at Nablus, police said, and wide- | spread sabotage of telephone lines ! was reported. British troops set up headquart- ' ers in the courtyard of the Church i of the Nativity at Bethlehem today, preparatory to a campaign , I against Arab rebels who had occupied the town. Armored cars and artillery were . set in place and the occupation . was peaceable, although the city . of Biblical fame still was under ' Arab control. It was believed that the British invasion was part of a general i campaign in Palestine, to be undertaken as soon as heavy troop re- , inforcements arrive in the next . three weeks. The latest outbreak was report- - ed last night from Beisan, in the i Jordan valley, where 11 Arabs were killed and three wounded. An . armed Arab band attacked a seti tlement and battled police until , planes of the British royal air force arrived to rout them with machine gun fire. | British reinforcements were en route from Malta and Egypt. Sir Harold Mac Michael. British high contmsisioner of Palestine, was • holding final conferences with i colonial officials in London before returning to Palestine the latter • part of the week. .: o HITLER PROBES ' (CONTINUED FROM PAGE ONE) trusted to you the immortal souls of your children and will demand again the same of you. “6. Children are the sanctuary . of you and God. "7. Appear with your children ’ at mass every Sunday and frequently at the communion table. "l "8. You yourselves must rear 1 your children at home in the Catholic spirit. i “9. Be not lethargic but vigilant over all your children. ’I “10. Dear father, dear mothers: 1 ; You must be God's viceroy to your '■, children; protect them from all •j danger — Including that to their
souls.” Joseph Buerckel, supreme German nazi commissioner for Austria, assumed charge of the local in-' vestigation and was repot ted to have ordered that an example was to be made of the men who, on Friday and Saturday nights, rioted before the cathedral, invaded the palace of Cardinal Innitzer, archbishop ot Vienna, and burned a crucifix, a painting of the Mudonna. and prayer books. It was understood that several dozen suspects already were under \ arrest. Further, it was noticed that minor officials of the nazi party, most of tljem dressed unobtrusively in civilian cloth-"' wore guarding a number of Vienna's churches, monasteries and cloisters. Buerckel was reported to have ordered this watch against any new outbreak Police showed great vigilance in their own work, and a number of anti-Catholics were arrested in the cathedral area last night. These men were indulging in the nazi shout: “To Dachau! To Dachau!” — meaning that Cardinal Innitzer and the priests under him should be sent to the Dachau concentration camp. Well informed sources asserted that Cardinal Innitzer expected to confer with Hiller soon over the riots, and that as a preliminary he intended to talk to Monsignor Cesare Orsenigo, papal nuncio at Berlin, and other high Roman Catholic church dignitaries. Police last night cleared the cathedral square after forbidding a scheduled series of evening Bilde study hours in order to prevent of persons who arrived at the the gathering of crowds. Thousands cathedral for last night's study hour found the cathedral locked. It was when the crowd got big that the police cleared the square and blocked It off. _o Trade In A Good Tow*. — Decalor ,

Woman jl to w Woman f By Mary Morris Serving the people of Decatui for forty years! That statement in itself is impressive, but think what it really means. During each one of those years, the Zwick organization has conducted many, many funerals, multiplying essential experience by the hundreds of times. Is it any wonder that an organization with such a harvest of experience can provide so excellent a service for a very moderate charge? Considering the progressive spirit of this community institution, in addition to its vast experience, one can truthfully say | that ZWICK Service is the finI est it is possible to give — I every day.
