The Monday conference was arranged by Gov. Murphy in a phone conversation with his secretary in Lansing. Representatives of the company, and the three union will attend. Spokesmen for the strikers said: “We are on strike agninst a wage cut that has been threatened by the company. We will conduct the strike so that the public will suffer no inconvenience. "As soon as the company wants to guarantee that there will be no wage cut and that they will renew our agreement the strike will be over.” Dan E. Karn, vice president and general manager of the company, said "this strike is being conducted by a small minority of employes and is entirely without justification.” "For more than six weeks we have been meeting with representatives of the CIO over the protest of other labor organizations also 1
