The price the trees will command is estimated at $2 or more in the United Staten and will cost about $1 in Canadian cities. A number of these trees will be cut by companies, and neighboring farmers will combine their efforts to load single cars, which will be shipped to various centers for dis-

The Christmas tree harvesters are looking forward to a good fall of snow’ and a stiff frost, which would facilitate their seasonal chore. The fir trees are fragile ami unless there is a good frost it is feared that the foliage will be badly damaged in handling.
