Since this firm was organized under the name The Mutschler Packing Company, we have endeavored to keep pace with the progress of this community. Today, we are glad to say our products are cured and prepared in a sanitary and modern plant under city supervision, and we feel, are worthy of the community in which they are produced. A fleet of trucks make daily deliveries of fresh meats, stopping at nearly every meat shop in Decatur and visiting many shops in neighboring cities in an area of eighty square miles. This system of frequent deliveries, we believe, is in keeping with the tempo of modern times and assures the furnishing of fresh meats.

DECATUR DAILY DEMOCRAT THURSDAY, MARCH 18, 1937.
We are proud of our sausages, w hich have been our specialties. We believe no better are made in the United States and that they are worthy of heading a line of quality meats. Through the use of distilled water our plant is able to manufacture and distribute tons of the best type of ice annually. This, too, is delivered daily. As the name Decatur suggests the best community in the country, so we trust, the name Mutschlers implies the best in quality of prepared pork, beef, veal and all kinds of sausages and distilled water ice.
